Supporting the Ukraine: Donations
Student Voice elects to collect donations for the people of the Ukraine.
We have all seen the news unfold in the Ukraine over the last week and our students at Park have understandably been asking questions and discussing this significant event. In addition to this, Student Leaders and the PHS Alliance have expressed the desire to help in some way. As a result, the student body has elected to start collections of necessary and requested items in support of the people of the Ukraine.
Items can be brought into school starting from Monday 7th March 2022 and handed to Form Tutors and Directors of House.
The main items are blankets, clothes, towels, shower gels, personal hygiene items and nappies.
The students have opted to designate specific categories to each House at Park, although any items donated will be welcome.
Griffin: DRIED FOODS e.g. pasta/ rice & toiletries such as toothpaste/ shampoo/ conditioner
Phoenix: DRIED FOODS e.g. pasta/ rice & clothes/ blankets/ towels
Dragon: DRIED FOODS e.g. pasta/ rice & toiletries such as soap and shower gel/ deodorant
Pegasus: DRIED FOODS e.g. pasta/ rice & pots and pans/ blankets/ nappies
Furthermore, the Year 11 Seniors are meeting to discuss donating a percentage of monies raised for their Prom to the Ukraine appeal.

Local donation points can be found across Lancashire and we will be coordinating the delivery of Park High School donations through the International Aid Trust in Chorley. We hope to make our first delivery to them on Friday 11th March
