Cricket Leaders

10 pupils went to The Leisure Box in Brierfield yesterday to take part in a day of training to become a cricket leader. Pupils were first shown how to lead sport specific warm-ups and set up and practice fun drills and skills. They then had to learn how to umpire and score cricket games. The pupils will now be asked to lead at 3 different cricket festivals with the local primary schools over the next few weeks. Mrs Callaghan was again very impressed with the enthusiasm and involvement from all the pupils. Well done to Seth, Max, Alfie, Lottie, Esther, Hannah, Maisie, Jessica, Phoebe and Imogen.
