Year 4 Tag Rugby Tournament

Blacko, Laneshaw Bridge, Christ Church and Park Primary all brought teams to the Year 4 Tag Rugby tournament at Park

How fantastic to see so many Year 4 pupils playing Tag Rugby on a beautiful, crisp evening here at Park.

Teams from 4 local primary schools joined us to practice and play tag rugby. It was great to see all the students fully involve themselves in all aspects of the game and improve their performance throughout their 3 matches. Every game was really close with many games ending in a draw. There was no run away clear winner but Park Primary were victorious over Laneshaw bridge in the final game meaning they were overall champions. Well done to all involved and thank you to all the staff and parents who were involved in transporting, coaching and watching the students. Special thanks again to Rhys Howard and Zack Stanforth for being fantastic refs with some tough decisions to make!
