Year 9 Netball success

Our Year 9 netball team had a great start to the year, winning 11-1 against Pendle Vale and showing fantastic team work. There were fantastic goals from Annabelle and Amber with great defensive skills shown from Emily, Darcie, Alicia and Bethany.  Congratulations also go to Amelia and Amber for being nominated players of the match by Pendle Vale. We would like to give an extra well done to the whole team for their sportsmanship throughout the game, which didn't go unnoticed by the teachers of Pendle Vale, who praised the girl's attitudes and thanked them for making the game so enjoyable for all involved. Well done girls, this is exactly what sport is all about!
