U14 girls win in English Schools Cup

A good victory over Bingley
he Under 14 Girls started off their English Cup campaign with an impressive 8-0 win over Bingley Grammar.
The game began with a slow start, as both teams seeking for the key pass to break the deadlock. Park’s deceptive runs and accurate passing started to cause real problems for Bingley, and it was Lottie who delivered a superb cross for Poppy to finish – making it 1–0. That goal marked Poppy’s fourth in just two games.
After half-time, Park truly came alive. Quick passing, relentless attacking play, and constant pressure led to a flurry of goals: 2 x Lottie, 2 x Emily, Maisie and Pola all found the net.
The front line of Poppy, Lottie, Emily, and Olivia worked tirelessly to break down Bingley’s defence, showing some excellent finishing. In midfield, strong distribution kept the tempo high and created numerous chances, with Maisie’s vision and long-range shooting proving key in Park’s dominance.
At the back, Evelyn was outstanding in defence, ensuring that any attacks from Bingley were calmly dealt with. Pola got herself in the goal sheet with her first goal for Park and made an impressive performance in defence.
With contributions across the team, the match was not only a strong result but also a great team performance.
