Park High 3–2 Darwen Aldridge Community Academy

Park High’s U14 girls recorded a well-earned 3–2 victory against Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in an exciting and competitive tie.

The game was closely contested throughout, with both teams displaying strong attacking play and determination in midfield. Park High took their chances well, with goals from Lottie on the wing, Madison in midfield, and Poppy leading the line as striker.

There was a noticeable improvement in Poppy’s forward play, with excellent movement off the ball and strong hold-up play that created opportunities for her teammates. Pola was outstanding in defence, showing superb timing in her tackles and reading the game effectively to stop several dangerous attacks.

Darwen Aldridge’s midfield performed well and kept the contest tight until the final whistle, but Park High’s teamwork and resilience proved decisive.

It was also great to see the return of Willow to the team — a welcome addition back into the squad.

A fantastic performance all round and a deserved win for Park High. We've got Mount Carmel in the next round of Lancashire Cup.
