All smiles from the year 7 Netballers

The year 7 Netball team enjoy a game in Burnley

Some of our year 7 Netballers travelled over to Burnley to play a game against Blessed Trinity this evening to expand their experience playing against teams from outside Pendle. We were strong in defence with Lily Bailey and Daisy Moore stopping many plays from Blessed with Hayley Ibbotson Booth and Annie-Mae Wilcock showing great control and movement in mid-court. Blessed had a very strong defensive team which challenged our attacking team. However, some great team work from Hollie Fitzpatrick and Erin O'Connor saw Alice Hartley score two fantastic shots for Park. Whilst our girls put up a good fight in this fun and competitive game, the final score ended 5-2 to Blessed Trinity. A great night was had by all with Annie-Mae Wilcock voted Player of the Match by Blessed Trinity for her energy throughout the game. I am so proud of each of these girls for continuously improving in a sport they love and for supporting each other as a team. Thank you to all the parents and carers who support them and make it possible for them to play against different teams.
