Pendle Schools Cross Country

This week will see the annual Pendle Schools Cross Country event held at AlkincoatesPark/Holt House. 

All parents should have details already but just to confirm...

On the day, your child will need a packed lunch and plenty of drinks.  Pupils should come to school in their full PE kit in the morning.  Warm clothing, such as a pair of tracksuit pants, jumper, coat and water proofs will also be needed.  They will attend lessons periods 1, 2 and 3 so will require books and equipment for these lessons. 

At 12.20 all pupils who are running should report to the PE office/changing rooms.  Year 7 pupils will be transported on the school minibus and pupils in Year 8-11 will walk to the venue.  The first race is at 1pm and approximate start times for all races are listed below.  The event should finish at approximately 3.15pm at which point pupils are free to leave.  The reply slip sent in by parents should have indicated if pupils are walking home from the venue, being collected or require a lift back in the minibus.  

Parents/grandparents etc. are more than welcome to come and support pupils on the day.

1.00pm – Year 7 Girls 

1.15pm – Year 7 Boys 

1.30pm – Junior Girls (Year 8 and 9) 

1.45pm – Junior Boys (Year 8 and 9) 

2.00pm – Inter Girls (Year 10 and 11) 

2.15pm – Inter Boys (Year 10 & 11)
