Colne Park High’s Year 11 team produced an end-to-end performance to earn a 1–1 draw against Fishermore in a competitive Pendle League fixture.
The match was closely contested from the outset, with both sides showing strong physicality and determination. Colne Park High took the lead through Jamie Sanderson, who finished confidently after a well-worked attacking move.
After half-time, Fishermore responded to level the score, setting up a tense final fifteen minutes.
Throughout the match, Colne Park displayed excellent teamwork and resilience. Harley impressed in midfield with his technical ability and composure on the ball, consistently applying pressure to Fishermore. Jamie was a constant threat down the wing, providing pace and creativity, while Arthur delivered a strong performance in midfield, contributing defensively and working tirelessly to break up opposition attacks.
The result reflects the team’s effort and commitment, and they can take great pride in their performance. The team now turns its focus to the Pendle 7-a-side Tournament next month.
