Year 7 go goal crazy

The Year 7 football team welcomed Marsden Heights for a Pendle League fixture on Tuesday night.

We made a good start but missed a number of chances to take the lead before Alfie Crabtree finally broke the deadlock. Much of the game was played in the opposition half as Oscar Mulligan and Lewis Thompson were a threat out wide and Joey Smith drove us forward in midfield.  Alfie completed a first half hat-trick along with a goal for Lewis although Marsden did score a goal of their own making it 4-1 at half time.  

The second half followed a similar pattern with more goals meaning the game finished 11-1.  Scorers were Alfie Crabtree (4), Lewis Thompson (3), Riley Phair (2), Kalen Satta and Harry Vickery.
