Year 8 goal-fest!

Year 8 played their first Pendle League game of the season as they travelled to Pendle Vale.  There was some excellent football played by the team and a fast start saw them score 3 quick goals.  A dominant first half performance meant that at half time they had established a healthy 9-0 lead due to some excellent passing and clinical finishing.  In the second half all the players showed their quality, often playing out of position to develop their knowledge of different roles.  Further goals meant that the final score was 14-0.  Goalscorers were Lewis (3), Logan (3), Charlie (2), Cooper (2), Josh M, Josh S, Oscar and Tom.

Well done to all the players, next up is a game at home to Primet on Friday next week.
