Year 9 netball

A wet and windy evening at Pendle Vale
A wet and windy evening for the year 9 netball tournament did not phase our student's and we got off to a strong start against Fishermore. Some fantastic play in both attack and defence keeping the score even and ending with a 0-0 draw.
Some excellent attacking play enabled Park to get a quick lead during our game against Primet with some admirable shooting from Annabelle Griffiths. Our strong defence kept Primet on their toes in a game that ended 5- 0 to Park.
Our final game against West Craven was tough with some excellent interceptions from both teams. West Craven took the lead from the first centre pass but we soon matched the score with some fantastic centre court play, making short, sharp passes in what was becoming a difficult game in poor weather conditions. The game ended 2-1 to Park.
Credit to all our players who showed enthusiasm and collaboration to achieve second place on goal difference. Well done girls
