Here at Park we encourage all members of the school community to be life-long learners.
We are committed to being the best that we can be every hour of every day. The image shows the Science department actively engaged in their weekly CPD - featuring a spotlight session from Mrs. Passerini on Growth Mindset.
Well done Team Science!
Inspiring futures at Media Village!
Another fine display from our Year 10 football team in the Pendle League.
At half time, the Park lads were 1-0 up after a superb strike from Alfie who struck the ball powerfully into the net from outside the box.
After half time West Craven began to get on top and dominated for 10 minutes before goals from Harry and a long distance strike from Marley gave control back to Park.
West Craven managed to get back into the game with a penalty. The team then finished strongly, hitting the bar three times Max, Riley and Alfie.
The game was sealed with a second goal for Alfie. Special mention today for Lennox who was relentless and hardworking throughout the match.
Nelson & Colne College recently visited school for a successful lunchtime drop in, open to all year groups. Students were able to ask questions, exploring their post-16 options.
We were also joined by a former student who attended along with Paul, who is now studying A-levels at Nelson & Colne College. This was great to see, and it was inspiring for our students to see what's possible once they leave school and start their next steps!
Burnley College have been into school during lunchtime for 'drop-in' sessions.
All year groups have had the amazing opportunity to ask questions and find out key information about Burnley College, this has helped students think about their future goals and opportunities. Thank you to Caitlin from Burnley College for her time and insight.
Craven College recently attended school for a lunchtime drop-in session for all year groups.
Students were intrigued to learn more about the unique courses which Craven college has to offer, such as Equine studies, Catering and much more. Following on from lunchtime, Craven College also delivered an assembly to our year 11 students, outlining key information such as how to apply and what courses are available.
Thank you to Jasmine from Craven College for delivering the assembly! There is a Craven College Open Evening on 6th October which many of our students will hopefully attend.
