  • T level activities within construction at Burnley College.

    Published 04/12/24

As part of the Burnley college T level taster week, we took 10 students to Burnley college to take part in T level activities within construction. Each student was shown how to fly a drone and had the opportunity to fly one themselves, which was great fun! Our students also then took part in assembling equipment which they then used to measure height within the surrounding area. Within these activities, our year 10 students learnt how the equipment worked as well as how it linked in well with specific careers such as architecture. Our students learnt all about T levels throughout the morning. We then had a tour around the construction centre at Burnley college, looking around the painting and decorating section, bricklaying, plastering and much more! Once again, our students truly enjoyed their morning.
