At Park High School, we celebrate students who embody our learning habits and values both inside and outside the classroom. Park Points are awarded to those who demonstrate these qualities, and each week, the top five students with the most Park Points receive the Park Point Award!
🎉 Congratulations to Week 12’s winners! 🎉
Each week, students earn credits in every subject for actively engaging in lessons and producing outstanding work. At the end of the week, the Student of the Week award is presented to the top two students in each house who have received the highest number of credits.
A huge congratulations to Week 12’s Student of the Week winners!
Mrs. Carson's class have been busy making model cells in their Science lessons this week. Some excellent displays of Ambition and Collaboration! #science
Paul attended the college application evening last night in the library after school, offering our year 11 students support and guidance along with Miss Barker. Many year 11 students came along and applied to college. Paul will be back again next Monday after school! A massive thankyou to Paul.

Year 10 were knocked out of the Lancashire Cup on Friday away at Saint Bedes, Lytham.
In wet and windy conditions, Park took the lead through Max M who finished from close after a long range shot from Alfie C was pushed away by the goalkeeper.
Going into half time Park were 1-0 up after resolute defending from Jayden H and 'man of the match' James H who kept the home team out.
In the second half Saint Bedes came out strongly and were awarded two penalties. Park then found it difficult to get back into the game and conceded a further two foals in the windy conditions.
The team did fight back in the last few minutes and, after a number of attacks, Louis C scored his third goal in three games to bring the final score 4-2.
Students engaged in lifelong learning during Personal Development Day
Recently, ten of our year 8 students had an amazing visit to Colne Fire station as part of work place Wednesdays. We were met by Mark who kindly showed us around the station! Our students got to explore the fire struck, learn about the different roles within the fire service and they asked key questions to find out about the different pathways. Every student who attended represented school brilliantly! Thank you to Mark from Colne fire station, our students thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
