    Whether we like it or not December is here and Christmas has officially begun on site at Park -Paul the Elf is back! Throughout December, he will be hidden by our senior prefects each day for students to spot. The first student to Mr Jackson's office at break with the correct location spot of Paul will be rewarded with festive treats!

    Keep your eyes peeled - Paul is quite adventurous with his location spots!

    The National Apprenticeship Show – North West was the perfect event for our year 11's to discover more about Apprenticeships across the region. Taking place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, this event welcomed visitors and exhibitors from across Liverpool, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Wrexham and Lancashire. Co-hosted at this event was UniversityFest, an opportunity for students to meet Universities and explore all options available post-18, including degree Apprenticeships and traditional pathways within Higher Education!

  • Industry Innovation Hub

    Mr Jackson and Mrs Johnson-Heafield attended the first Industry Innovation Hub, organised by Nelson and Colne College.

    Mr Jackson formed part of the panel, discussing how educators and employers can work together to ensure that our local area continues to inspire and develop the next generation of engineers.

    This event has raised the profile of engineering and the excellence that can be found in the local labour market.  

    We are excited about the links established and are looking forward to working with industry and the college in the near future.

  • Children in Need

    Friday 15th November.

    In support of Children in Need, we will be running a tuck shop at break time to raise funds for charity.  The tuck shop will take place in the dance studio at break time on Friday.

    We have communicated this with all the students over the last two weeks and are looking forward to as many students as possible, donating to this good cause.
