Many of our Park Family have represented different community organisations across Pendle in Remembrance Services and Parades this Sunday. Students have worn uniforms with pride representing Army Cadets, Guides, and Scouts to name a few and have played key roles in upholding community traditions to honour those who sacrificed for us. From Standard Bearers to wreath layers, we are so immensely proud of them.
Park High School hosted Stage Door Youth Theatre over the weekend for their production of Peter Pan. Wow what an absolutely fantastic production it was! Several of the talented Park Family were in the cast as well as many more familiar faces behind the scenes backstage in key roles to ensure the audience were taken on a wonderful journey to Neverland.

Year 9 7-a-side
A huge well done to our Year 11 students who have just finished a week of Mock Examination in the sports hall. The intense week included a morning and afternoon examination.
During the next few weeks, the students will review the papers in class and look for gaps in knowledge to target with their teachers.

Some of our Park Family regularly attend Burnley Junior Parkrun held at Towneley Park every Sunday at 9am. The run is a free, timed 2km course where anyone aged 4-14 years can run, jog or walk for fun. To attend, all you need is to register with parkrun to get a barcode which can be printed or shown on a mobile phone at the end.
Over 14, fear not, regular free adult parkrun events are held at Holt House, Colne and Towneley Park on Saturdays and are a 5km course. All parkrun events are for fun, fitness and enjoyment and not a race. Everyone is welcome.
