Year 8 PD day
Published 07/03/24Year 8 had a day focusing on careers. With external talks from Nelson & Colne College to team building exercises like this one. Groups were challenged with making a chair out of balloons, string and cellotape. Within a set time, each member was given a roll to perform and one was selected as the test 'victim'.

Year 9 D of E.
Published 06/03/24A massive well done to Year 9, who have taken part in a practice walk to prepare them for their final D of E Bronze award expedition which will take place later this academic year. Year 9 demonstrated Respect as they took the challenging route and everyone persevered to make it to the end. Well done Year 9! Thank you to all the staff who actively took part today and an even bigger thank you to Mr Spencer and Mr Jackson for all of their organisation in the weeks leading up to today.

Year 11 mock examination
Published 01/03/24Well done to all our hardworking Year 11 students who have just finished their final mock examinations. We are so proud of our students and how they have approached the two weeks of assessment. Students will receive valuable feedback in the next couple of weeks as they prepare for the full GCSE examinations that begin Thursday 9th May.
Mock examination results will be reported home to parents in the Spring Tracker reports at the end of this term
