It was touch and go as to whether HM Queen Elizabeth would make it in time due to issues during her chosen Amazon transit, but alas she did not let us down and did not disappoint as we helped our students to celebrate the Queen's jubilee.
Wishing you a wonderful half term and I hope you enjoy the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Promoting participation in sport and physical activity was top of the agenda for some of our Year 9 girls today!
What an incredible night! Our first school show in over two years, and it was a sell-out!
A huge well done to all our talented students involved, you were amazing. Your aspiration to perform and most definitely to achieve shone through in each and every single performance.
Thank you to all students and staff involved, it really wouldn't have been possible without you, now we begin the countdown for the next one! Watch this space...

ASPIRE. PERFORM. ACHIEVE.
A huge well done to our top 10 Year 7s who met with Mrs Eulert and Mr Allen this morning.
Emilia, Esther, Ava, Jess, Lily, Tasheen, William, Lottie, Meg and Imogen all received their Aim High postcards. We discussed aspirations and the students told us their plans to go to University.
Within this group we have a future Sports Scientists, Radiographer, Photographer, Interior Designer, Business owner, Architect and a Forensic Pathologist.
It was fantastic to hear their plans and aspirations. A huge well done, we are very proud of you!
Today we celebrated with our highest achieving Year 8 students from the Spring Term and discussed aspirations and Aiming High.
Alfie, Alton, Grace, Alfie, Jessie, Max, Will, Hannah and Eva all met with Mrs Eulert and Mr Allen and were awarded their Aim High post cards. These students are definitely aiming for the top and discussed their aspirations to become a physiotherapist, computer programmer, professional footballer, astrophysicist, business owner, performing artist and professional musician.
It was fantastic to hear them talk about university and aspirations beyond.
We have had lots of proud moments this week: student's exemplary behaviour in exams; the innovation and interest shown in the @BAESystemsInc sponsored 3D printing training sessions to Year 8; a 'congratulations' letter from the Executive Director of Education, welcoming children from the Ukraine into the Park family to name a few...but it's the little things isn't it?
On Friday, two of our students saw an injured bird on the way to school and brought it in to see if anyone could help it, as they 'just couldn't leave it'...and that's really what education is about, developing the whole child so that the next generation can look after the world we live in.
We are so proud of our Year 11s and the start to their GCSE examinations.
Every morning Head of Year 11 Mr Schofield and Y11 Pastoral Support Worker Mrs Coffey have welcomed Year 11 to the revision breakfast with tea, coffee and toast.
Revision Breakfast starts at 7.30am and have been very well attended this week by our Year 11 students. Year 11 student Reece said "Its great to come in early and have time to go through my revision cards. I can sit with my mates and we have been going over things before the exam. Having a brew and piece of toast has also helped me prepare early and settle my nerves before the exam."
We wish our Year 11s every success in next week's GCSE examinations:
Monday - Geography
Tuesday - French
Wednesday - English Literature
Thursday - Religious Studies
Friday - Chemistry and Computer Science
