Published 27/11/25Recently, ten of our year 8 students had an amazing visit to Colne Fire station as part of work place Wednesdays. We were met by Mark who kindly showed us around the station! Our students got to explore the fire struck, learn about the different roles within the fire service and they asked key questions to find out about the different pathways. Every student who attended represented school brilliantly! Thank you to Mark from Colne fire station, our students thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Last Wednesday, ten year 8 students visited Pendle Leisure Centre for workplace Wednesday! They explored the centre and found out all about the key roles within the trust. They also gained insight into how the centre operates and how teamwork is a key skill which is needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly! Our students enjoyed the visit. Thank you to Tom for showing us around and providing a positive experience for our year 8 students!
