Happy New Year!
Start of Term
Today, an external team has been working alongside our site staff to clear and grit the site, ensuring it is safe for access. However, we are closely monitoring the overnight weather conditions and the forecast for tomorrow before confirming if the school can open.
The decision will be based on the safety and accessibility of both the site and the surrounding local area, which is less within our control.
A thorough assessment will be conducted early tomorrow morning, and the final decision will be shared by 6:45 am through Facebook, the school website, email, and MCAS.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Profiling, ranking, attribute and triangle testing are used to evaluate food before going to market and to ensure products remain consistent. Learning about these experiments is important for a food science career and is used by year 11 for their course work.
Year 8 have been learning how to prevent enzymic browning by applying heat to fruit and turning it into a compote. They then used the rubbing in method to create a crumble topping and lovely dessert for these cold nights.
