  • Year 8 Musical Theatre!

    Year 8 students have enjoyed exploring Musical Theatre this half-term in their Performing Arts lesson's. They have learnt about the musical School of Rock and have been focussing on developing their ability to create stereotypical characters, perform using the American accent as well as learning how to perform a Monologue!

  • Year 9 Langoustine Drawings

    Our Y9 GCSE Art students have been creating observational studies being informed by Langoustines and sea creatures. Students have experimented with different techniques such as pencil tone, coloured pencil, watercolour paints and acrylic paints to help develop their skills further and trial materials.

  • KS3 Design & Technology rotation carousel

    As the KS3 Design & Technology rotation carousel is reaching its climax everyone is super busy working hard to perfect their work in preparation to take it home. The Textiles students are creating their own fabric design through block printing and ultimately sewing it into a small bag. Materials Technology are open Mold casting, producing Pewter Jewellery, Graphic Communication are designing and making a new range of chocolates for 'The Gourmet Chocolate Company' and Food Preparation & Nutrition are completing the last of their five practical sessions exploring a range of dishes that promote a healthy diet.
