In Year 7, Drama lessons at Park have very specific goals, based around building our students' communication skills, developing confidence and learning how to collaborate effectively. These goals are intrinsically linked to our school's core values of Ambition, Respect and Collaboration but at their heart, they are designed to instil a sense of creativity and joy in the classroom.
Fisher More hosted the annual B team district football tournament on Tuesday night. Our Year 9's have been that enthusiastic this year we entered two teams into the completion Park Red and Park Blue.
Park Blue finished second in group 1 and qualified for the semi final after three draws against West Craven, Primet and Marsden Heights. Park Red finished second and qualified for the semi final after a loss against Fisher More and win against Pendle Vale.
In the semi final Park Red were victorious against Primet with a goal from Jayden Willet. Park Blue won 1-0 against Fisher More with a goal from Jayden Hensby.
In a very close final Park Red finished as 1-0 winners with the winning goal coming from Austin Corner.

This week our Key Stage 3 students have been assessed against the Curriculum Related Expectations. In Year 7 on Monday the students were assessed in a Handball lesson
CRE 3 - Use of skills and techniques when using a ball to throw, catch, pass, shoot or bounce.
CRE 7 - Knowledge and understanding of rules
as part of the assessment, students evaluated themselves and others against the criteria.
