During Personal Development lessons, Year 11 students have been exploring post-16 options and considering life beyond Park High School.
Year 7 have been introduced to their first few weeks of Personal Development. All classes have been familiarising themselves with first aid, including emergency phone calls, helping someone who is choking and the recovery position.
A massive thank you to all our students, staff and visitors who took part in our first PD Day of the year. There was lots on offer across all year groups and Year 9 got their first taste of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. An amazing day throughout!
Last Thursday, 14 pupils from our STEM Ambassadors visited Heysham Power Station. Pupils were commended on their respect and collaboration at the event and had experience of how the nuclear power station works. An incredible opportunity to see one of the North West's biggest STEM employers. Well done!

Year 8 make a great start to the season
An excellent start to the league season
A good start to the English Schools competition
Our Year 10 football team kicked off the season with an 8-1 win over Pendle Vale College. The team started lively with lots of attacking play and chances from Ollie and Alfie.
The team then went 1-0 down five minutes before half time after a break away goal from Pendle Vale College. This seemed to wake the team up who responded quickly and scored three goals in three minutes (Max and Oscar x2)
At half time came on to make his debut and made an instant impact scoring after thirty seconds. This was then followed by a Kai goal after good work from Ollie.
One of the match highlights was a long distance power drive from Riley that smashed onto the cross bar. Then Oscar finished a superb debut with another goal.
Centre forward Max added two more late goals to complete his hat-trick and finish the game at 8-1.
Move over Rocky!
