Published 05/11/23Some of our Park Family regularly attend Burnley Junior Parkrun held at Towneley Park every Sunday at 9am. The run is a free, timed 2km course where anyone aged 4-14 years can run, jog or walk for fun. To attend, all you need is to register with parkrun to get a barcode which can be printed or shown on a mobile phone at the end.
Over 14, fear not, regular free adult parkrun events are held at Holt House, Colne and Towneley Park on Saturdays and are a 5km course. All parkrun events are for fun, fitness and enjoyment and not a race. Everyone is welcome.

Published 01/11/23Year 8 have been creating fusion cuisines by combining Asian bao buns with American cheeseburgers. Recalling how to make a bread dough from their pizza practical, this time they shaped it around a burger patty, added some cheese before steaming it to create a soft steamed cheeseburger.

All students celebrated gaining their Ambition postcard and a tube of Smarties in recognition of how SMART they are.

Published 19/10/23It was fantastic to see so many parents and students at last nights Year 11 Success Fayre.
The evening started with a presentation from Mrs Eulert and Mr Allen outlining the key dates for the year and the countdown to the Summer Examination 2024.
All students collected a 'goody bag' of chocolate, important dates, mock exam timetable, how to access exam boards information and revision resources including pads, pens and highlighters to help during mock examination preparation.
As part of the Fayre parents and students circulated the room to collect summary specifications and revision packs from each subject area.
Also during the evening, there was an opportunity to talk to Nelson and Colne College, Burnley College and Training 2000.
This morning, all parents have been emailed the presentation, instructions for ordering Revision Guides and the important dates document.
