Our Year 10 GCSE Art students are really enjoying their exploration of their individual sustained projects. Ashleigh Salmons has created an amazing artist study looking closely at the work of Mark Powell and replicating his work through using biro pen techniques. Well done Ashleigh, your work is outstanding!

6 teams battle it out in a very competitive Basketball tournament!
Year 9's unbeaten season in the league continued with a 3-1 win away at Marsden Heights. Two first have goals from Rhys Howard and Connor Smith (both pictured) set the team up for the victory.
Impressive centre backs Liam Hopkinson and Josh Morley (pictured) dominated the game. Special mention to Marcus Cowley, who although did nt score, came very close hitting the bar and post after break away counter-attacks in the second half.
Move of the game came direct from goalkeeper Alex Byrne (pictured) , whose accurate long clearance found Rhys Howard who skilfully lobbed the Marsden Heights keeper.
Rossall v Park in the U16 Lancashire Cup
Year 11 will play the next round of the Lancashire Cup away at Rossall on Tuesday this week.
I am always proud of all our students at Park, but this week students who are part of the PHS Alliance and the Student Leadership Group have really shone! After some very mature and altruistic conversations the students expressed a desire to help the people of Ukraine. They elected to start collections of essential items and to donate percentages of the monies they are raising for their Prom. The students in these groups have really shown the attributes needed from our leaders of the future and I am so, so proud of them! #standwithukraine
