In Performing Arts, Year 8 students have dived straight into their new topic this half-term of learning about 'Dance around the World'. So far, they have explored workshops in the styles of Contemporary and the Haka focussing on stylistic features and the cultural heritage of these dance styles. We are looking forward to studying Bollywood next week!

RISE Time Read Aloud Fiction Novels
Year 7 students have begun exploring an African Art project and are learning about children from different cultures and backgrounds. They have been transferring all the skills they acquired in their previous project 'Me, Myself and I' into these multimedia drawings of tribal children.

We can't believe that 2022 is here already...
Our Year 9 GCSE Art students have been working extremely hard during their first week back through creating their own abstract collage's in response to their studies of sea life. Please take a look at a few of their fantastic creations so far, they are coming along beautifully!

We are super proud of all our students today, who conducted themselves in a mature and sensible manner during Lateral Flow testing this morning.
We managed to process over 700 tests in just 2 hours, thanks to our amazing staff and students, minimising the impact on curriculum time and keeping all in the #ParkFamily safe and well.
Students will be provided with home test kits on Friday, so they can continue testing twice a week at home. Please can we ask that you register the result of the home tests with the NHS (through the barcode on the test) AND with school.
