    "Think, Pair, Share"

Year 10 Biologists focused on group work to create a bubble of security when tackling challenging GCSE questions; a safe space where they could think for a while, say whatever they liked and get it wrong! Lesson group work enabled the students to admit if they didn’t understand and then collaborate, gain confidence and learn together.  It is easier to say ‘we don’t get it’ rather than ‘I don’t get it’! Every single student engaged in writing with confidence and generating answers simultaneously #Collaboration #TeamWork #ThinkPairShare #GCSE #Oracy #AQA

  • Year 10 Mock Results Day and Interviews

    Published 01/07/22

Year 10 experienced a Mock Results Day today.

This involved an inspirational assembly from Mr Allen before they received their results in the Drama Studio. The event simulated the experience the cohort will have in August 2023 as students opened their results and shared with friends and teachers.

Each student then had a 10 minute interview about their futures from local Employers/Colleges/Agencies. A fantastic day for all involved!!
