Wishing you a wonderful half term and I hope you enjoy the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

  • Headteacher's blog - It's the little things!

    Published 22/05/22

We have had lots of proud moments this week: student's exemplary behaviour in exams; the innovation and interest shown in the @BAESystemsInc sponsored 3D printing training sessions to Year 8; a 'congratulations' letter from the Executive Director of Education, welcoming children from the Ukraine into the Park family to name a few...but it's the little things isn't it?

On Friday, two of our students saw an injured bird on the way to school and brought it in to see if anyone could help it, as they 'just couldn't leave it'...and that's really what education is about, developing the whole child so that the next generation can look after the world we live in.

  • Year 11 GCSE Revision Breakfast

    Published 19/05/22

We are so proud of our Year 11s and the start to their GCSE examinations.

Every morning Head of Year 11 Mr Schofield and Y11 Pastoral Support Worker Mrs Coffey have welcomed  Year 11 to the revision breakfast with tea, coffee and toast.

Revision Breakfast starts at 7.30am and have been very well attended this week by our Year 11 students. Year 11 student Reece said "Its great to come in early and have time to go through my revision cards. I can sit with my mates and we have been going over things before the exam. Having a brew and piece of toast has also helped me prepare early and settle my nerves before the exam."

    Tuesday - French

  • One Team, One Family! #ParkFamily

    Published 17/05/22

We are extremely grateful for everyone in the #ParkFamily, but the Attendance Team are key to supporting our student's and families day in and day out, to ensure they can be the best they can be.

Excellent attendance is paramount to success and achievement at any school and here at Park High it is no different.

We have a dedicated team of attendance workers to ensure that every student strives for excellent attendance and understands the link between excellent attendance and attainment success. The strong partnerships between school and home have proved invaluable in improving the attendance of individual students.

Park fully understands however, that there are times when students may have to face difficulties and challenging times, affecting their capacity to be in school. As such, we have a dedicated pastoral care, social, emotional and mental health wellbeing team, devoted to helping students face these challenges and feel confident and happy to attend school every day.
